How do you load line on a TwisNEdge TE475Y gas powered edger? Neighbor got one at a yard sale w/no manual.?

Question: There is an embossed arrow on the out side of the string hub. It appears that you actually "push" the string into the hub to load it. Do you push the string into the hub in the direction of the Arrow, or is the arrow point the direction the line is supposed to feed

Answer: I am going on the assumption that your product is a Poulan Twist N Edge.
Below is a link to poulan owners manuals, the two on that page that have the twist n edge shaft should be the same as your model. But in general you do not feed the line in through the hole. You remove

Grass Edging Problem?

Question: For starters, I am a woman and I do not like heavy machinery. I need a light piece of equipment.

Here is the problem: I have sod that was planted close to the house on both sides. There are not flower beds or anything, but the grass needs edging along the sides

Answer: I don't know why developers are building houses like that! You could get a "line trimmer" an electric would work for you. Try to get a manual feed if you can, one that you stick short pieces of line in the head instead of winding it. Lawn care people knock the paint
